For decades, OGA has specialized in designing systems for coffee handling, implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for correct application in production processes.
Every development of pneumatic transport systems for coffee implicitly includes basic concepts of protection against cross-contamination, coffee bean destruction, accumulation points, equipment cleaning facilities, traceability, and finishes that meet the demanding industrial requirements.
The process begins with green coffee, which is brought to a system called cleaning towers. Then, the coffee is stored in one or multiple silos where automatic weighing and mixing for batch preparation occur. This mixture is then taken to the roasting and cooking process.
From the roasters, the roasted coffee is pneumatically transported to storage tanks, ensuring minimal breakage and preserving its aromatic properties. Later, it is stored according to the reference of the roasted coffee in storage silos. After that, the material is weighed by mix or preparation recipe.
