Pneumatic Transport Systems
OGA has specialized in handling delicate materials such as powdered milk, where the material handling system is designed based on the type of product, with a priority on preserving its physical characteristics, primarily the particle size, which is crucial in this type of movement. Additionally, OGA offers transport systems for POWDERED MILK GASIFICATION, where our systems guarantee a gasification system with OXYGEN RESIDUE lower than 1% at the delivery point to the packaging machines.
Currently, OGA has successfully implemented these types of systems in the largest powdered milk drying companies in Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil, achieving applications of up to 15 tons/h per system and transport distances of up to 126 horizontal meters.
One of the key highlights in our applications is the high prevention of product oxidation during transport. For this reason, major projects have been carried out using dense phase transport, ensuring the least amount of air participation in the process as a guarantee to prevent product oxidation.
In gasification systems, material movement occurs through the implementation of an inert gas that displaces the material within the pipeline over medium and long distances, ensuring that the milk retains its properties and does not degrade when using air.

Industrial intervention in this industry model typically occurs in the areas of dryers, vibro-fluidizers, and the unloading of Big Bags or sacks. From this point, Pneumatic Transport Systems move the material to storage silos or specific equipment in the production process. In the case of gasification systems, the intervention specifically occurs at the packaging stage.
OGA has the technical and operational capability developed over the years for intervention in processes related to handling (Whole powdered milk, Skimmed powdered milk, Powdered whey, Dairy derivatives, non-allergenic minor components, and allergenic minor components). Depending on the application requirements, there is also an offer of specialized equipment for spraying and drying tasks adaptable to each industry. Additionally, our developments are complemented by weight control systems in silos and process machines, and SCADA systems that allow real-time production visualization, enabling local or remote monitoring, control, and supervision of the production process.
