Mode of Intervention

In the plastics industry, PVC piping, and its derivatives, raw materials are typically received in (bags, big bags, or bulk). From this stage, OGA intervenes in the direct handling of multiple materials through loading and unloading systems tailored to each company’s specific production model. There are two modes of gradual and direct intervention in the process:

  1. Unloading and transportation of raw materials to storage silos.
  2. Transportation of raw materials directly to specific phases of the process, typically towards mixing towers, extruders, injectors, blowers, co-extruders, or other processing equipment.

Specialists in design and construction of PVC pipe production plants

One of OGA’s specialties lies in the design and construction of PVC pipe production plants, specifically concerning automated material handling. Currently, the largest PVC pipe production plants in the region have OGA developments in their implementations, spanning from raw material reception to the final delivery of the compound to extrusion and injection machines.

Moreover, OGA systems feature SCADA control models, allowing real-time operation visualization, both locally and remotely. This adaptable technology caters to every industry requirement, serving as a resource for supervision, inspection, control, and data management.

Based on the industry and process intervention, considering its diverse variables and special requirements, there are systems for the in-line addition of carbonate, addition of pulverized substances, or addition of colorants in powders or master batches directly onto the machine. These systems can increase the PHR (Parts per Hundred Resin) of the added compound, aiming to enhance the physical properties of the product and reduce production costs.
